Operation of the V-tec Vacuum Conveyor System
  • The exhaust valve closes (3) as the vacuum pump (1) starts to evacuate the receiver tank (2) and suction pipe (5).
  • The suction pipe (5) achieves appropriate vacuum level.
  • Product and air from the suction point is drawn into the receiver tank.
  • Compressed air fills the reservoir (8).
  • The filter (4) prevents dust and small particulates from entering the pump
  • When the material hopper is filled, the vacuum pump stops. The exhaust vaove on the conveyor opens discharging the product. Simultaneously, the compressed air reservoir automatically vents blowing the inlet filter clean.
  • This cycle is usually controlled by a timer (7), however, other control methods may be used depending on the application.
